Our Commitment

At Dion’s Bus Service, we are committed to delivering a service that not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations. Our goal is to set the standard in the transportation industry and inspire others to follow. 

Quote Validity

Please note that our charter quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued. 

Passenger Conduct Passengers must not: 

  • Smoke including Vaping onboard, consume drugs and or consume alcohol. 
  • Use offensive language or behave offensively. 
  • Interfere with equipment or damage the bus. 
  • Obscure the aisle, doorways, or any exit point use for customer boarding and disembarking. 
  • Throw anything in or from the bus or drop/leave rubbish in the bus. 

The Hirer and their party are expected to behave appropriately throughout their journey. The Driver, who is responsible for the safety of the vehicle, may refuse to allow a passenger to board or may eject them from the vehicle if they are deemed unfit to travel (for example, due to intoxication, aggression, or abusive behaviour). The Driver may also refuse to continue the journey if any passenger’s behaviour could compromise the safety of others, the vehicle, or its contents. 

In such cases, the journey may continue once the passenger has been removed from the vehicle. If passenger conduct results in the termination of the journey, the company reserves the right to cancel any other parts of a booking. In these circumstances, any monies paid will be forfeited, and no claims for compensation or refund will be entertained. 

Payment Requirements

For non-account customers, full payment must be received 7 days prior to the date of booking. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the charter booking. A $250 refundable cleaning bond may also be charged prior to your booking. This bond will be released within 10 business days, provided there are no damages or additional cleaning required as a result of the charter. 

Booking Cancellations & Amendments

Depending on the nature of amendments to your booking, an extra charge may be applied to cover additional km’s & time. We require notification of cancellation 7 days prior to the scheduled charter; failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee totalling 50% of the charter cost. Rescheduling charters may be available based on resource availability. 

Lost Property

While Dion’s Bus Service makes every effort to return lost property to its rightful owner, we cannot take responsibility for any items left on our buses or the return of lost property. 

Driver Hours

Driver’s hours and rest periods are strictly regulated by Australian state and federal government laws. The Hirer accepts responsibility for timings agreed at the confirmation of booking. The Hirer and their passengers must not delay or interrupt the journey in such a way as to cause the Driver to breach these regulations. If any breach is likely to occur, the Hirer agrees to pay any additional costs incurred. If delays occur, the Company may take necessary action for the Driver to comply with the law. The Company cannot be held responsible for any losses arising because of those delays or non-performance of the services unless they are due solely to the negligence of the Company.
